Hans Löfflad (born August 1, 1922 in Bühl / Ries ; † October 25, 1997 in Augsburg ) was a German politician ( WAV , later DP ).

Life

Löfflad belonged to the German Bundestag in its first legislative period (1949–1953). Originally elected for the Economic Development Association (WAV), he moved to the German Party (DP) on December 6, 1951 with the bulk of his parliamentary colleagues in protest against the re-election of party chairman Alfred Loritz . At the time of his election, Löfflad was the youngest member of the first German Bundestag at the age of 27. From February 13, 1953 until the end of the legislative period, he was deputy chairman of the Bundestag committee for public welfare issues.

In the federal election in 1953 , Löfflad ran unsuccessfully to fourth place on the Bavarian state list of the DP.

Löfflad's father-in-law was Wilhelm Schmidt , who had also been elected to the German Bundestag in 1949 from the WAV list and who converted to the DP on December 6, 1951.
