Hans Lampe (* unknown; † 1604 in Braunschweig ) was the builder of the Gewandhaus in Braunschweig, one of the most remarkable Renaissance buildings in Northern Germany.

He pursued the ambitious Gewandhaus project and the first renovation of the building, which had become dilapidated over time, took place from 1588 to 1592 according to his designs and under his supervision. The redesign of the east gable as a display facade goes back to him. It is noteworthy that his mark is a stonemason mark next to the mark of the sculptor Balthasar Kircher , who carried out the stonemason and stone carving work partly together with the sculptor Jürgen Röttger , in the building. He was not only referred to as a builder , but also as the treasurer ” of the Altewiek area.

During the construction period of the Martinsschule from 1592 to 1595, he acted like a builder and verifiably signed off the procurement of materials and accounts. As a general builder, he was certainly not only responsible for the material and the construction accounts, but also for the overall planning. The stonemason and stone carving work was carried out by Balthasar Kircher. Martinsschule was destroyed during the Second World War on the night of bombing on October 15, 1944 . Today there is only one portal of the Martinsschule at the entrance to the assembly hall of the Martino-Katharineum grammar school .
