Hans "Hasse" Lindbom (born February 12, 1953 ) is a former Swedish football player who now works as a coach.

Career

Lindbom started playing football at Tranås BoIS . In 1971 he left the club and was then under contract with Östers IF and Åtvidabergs FF . During this time he came to two appearances in the Swedish U19 team. In 1975 he moved to Jönköpings Södra IF . After four years he moved on to IS Halmia , where he was under contract for one year. In 1980 he was hired as a player-coach at Huskvarna Södra before joining Råsunda IS in 1982 . There he ended his active career in 1983.

Immediately after his active time, Lindbom switched to the coaching bench in 1984 and initially looked after his home club Tranås BoIS in the third-class Division 3 . In 1985 he took over IK Tord at the same league level. As sixth in the table, the club fell victim to a league reform in 1986. After a year in the fourth division, he left the club to take over the third division club Tidaholms GIF for the 1988 season . In his second year at the club he led the team to the runner-up in Division 2 Västra and in 1990 he was third in the table with the club.

As a result, Lindbom was also noticed in a higher class and in 1991 he was hired as coach of the second division IF Elfsborg . After twice missing the club's promotion to the Allsvenskan due to places in the front midfield , his engagement was over. Therefore, he returned to Tidaholms GIF in the third division for the 1993 season. However, he could no longer build on the successful time of his first stay at the club and after three seasons the paths parted again.

In 1998, Lindbom hired at Svenska Fotbollförbundet and was subsequently responsible for various youth selections for the regional association.
