Hans Lohmann (soccer player)

Hans Lohmann (born September 22, 1930 ) is a former German soccer player who was active from 1951 to 1962 in the first-class soccer Oberliga West and 2. Liga West for Duisburg SpV .

career

Lohmann came from the youth of Duisburger SC in 1900 to the eleven-time West German champion. For the DSV he completed 199 league games from 1954 to 1962 and scored 32 goals. The half-striker and long-time high performer experienced the most successful round in 1956/57 when he reached the runner-up in the western league with the game club and thus moved into the final round of the 1957 German football championship. There he and his teammates Willi Koll , Walter Münnix , Rolf Benning and Ernst Wechselberger took second place in the group with 4: 2 points behind Hamburger SV . After relegation from the league in 1962 , he played until 1965 for the later renamed fusion club Eintracht Duisburg . In the first year of the West Regional Football League, 1963/64, the veteran played 16 games and scored three goals for DSV. For Eintracht Duisburg there were another 21 games with one goal in 1964/65.
