Hans Neusel (politician)

Hans Neusel (born December 18, 1914 in Hohenkirchen ; † August 10, 1999 in Vellmar ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

Hans Neusel did an apprenticeship as a craftsman after secondary school, but was seriously wounded in the Second World War in 1940 and has worked in the administration ever since.

politics

Hans Neusel was a member of the SPD and worked there in a number of board positions. He was district chairman in the Kassel district and a member of the district executive committee.

In terms of local politics, he was the municipal representative in Obervellmar and served there as a full-time mayor from 1962 to 1970. At the same time he was a member of the Kassel-Land district assembly, where he led the SPD parliamentary group from 1956 to 1971.

Hans Neusel was a member of the Hessian state parliament for two electoral terms from December 1, 1970 to November 30, 1978, and was its vice-president from 1974 to 1978. In 1974 he opened the state parliament as old-age president .

Hans Neusel was a member of the 6th Federal Assembly .
