Hans Peter Klinke

Hans Peter Klinke (born May 14, 1908 , † May 1, 1943 in Berlin-Reinickendorf ) was a German engineer.

Life

Jack studied at the University Friedrich-Wilhelms-Silesian Engineering . In 1927 he became a member of the Corps Marcomannia Breslau with Günther Ramser, who later wore the Knight's Cross . At the Technical University of Berlin was Albert Speer to college friend. As a graduate engineer , Klinke was Speer's first employee in his Berlin office from 1932. He became known for the New Reich Chancellery , for which he took over the construction according to designs by Hitler and Speer. After an argument with Speer, which he felt betrayed, he reported to the Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler in 1942 . With her he went to the German-Soviet war . He suffered severe wounds in the Battle of Kharkov (1943) . He was taken to the Reinickendorf military hospital, where Hitler appointed him professor on April 20, 1943 at Speer's suggestion. A little later he died shortly before his 35th birthday. Speer himself planned the big funeral service on Pariser Platz .
