Hans Ranzoni the Younger
Hans Ranzoni the Younger (born September 6, 1896 in Vienna ; † October 11, 1991 there ) was an Austrian graphic artist .
His father was Hans Ranzoni the elder . While he was mainly dedicated to oil painting, the son specialized in graphics, namely copperplate engraving. 1945–1961 he taught at the graphic teaching and research institute in Vienna. Ranzonis award-winning work included book illustrations, bookplates and templates for official documents. His postage stamp designs , for example the second costume series , became particularly well known .
