Hans Sarkowicz

Hans Sarkowicz (* 1955 in Gelnhausen ) has been head of the hr2 literature and radio play division at Hessischer Rundfunk since 1979 .

Life

Hans Sarkowicz studied German language and literature and history from 1974 to 1979 at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and completed his master's degree (MA).

In 2014/15 Sarkowicz was a lecturer at the Institute for General and Comparative Literature Studies at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University with a focus on the cultural history of the early Federal Republic.

Together with other authors, he has published biographies on, among others, Erich Kästner , Heinz Rühmann and Philipp von Boeselager . He is also co-editor of Kästner's works and author of radio history publications, for example on the Hessischer Rundfunk, the Allied radio propaganda in World War II and on radio during the Third Reich . Further works are rights shops (1994) about the publisher with "entanglements in the right-wing extremist scene" Herbert Fleissner and literature in Nazi Germany from 2000 (revised and expanded as a writer under National Socialism in 2011 ).

Hans Sarkowicz is a member of the German Academy for Football Culture . In 2014 he was a member of the jury and laudator of the Fan Prize of the Year at the German Football Culture Prize .
