Hans Sattlegger

Hans Sattlegger (born February 15, 1873 in Baldramsdorf , Carinthia ; † November 15, 1954 ibid) was an Austrian politician .

Life

After completing elementary and community school, Hans Sattlegger attended an agricultural school in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee . Then he worked as a farmer in the Unterhaus district of Baldramsdorf. In 1903 he married and in the same year took over the family farm with the house name Krendlmar .

In 1914, Sattlegger was elected mayor of Baldramsdorf; it was until 1920. He was involved in the Carinthian farmers' union , which became part of the land union for Austria . From 1931 he was chairman of the Carinthian regional organization of the federal state for several years.

From 1919 to 1934 he sat for the Bauernbund and the Landbund in the Carinthian Landtag , and from 1927 to 1934 he served as the second President of the Landtag. From April to July 1934 he was also provincial governor's deputy for a short time.

In January 1931 he was sworn in as a member of the Federal Council in Vienna . However, until February 1932, Sattlegger only belonged to the second Austrian parliamentary chamber for a little over a year.

Sattlegger had six children.
