Hans Sauer (born July 21, 1894 in Sonneberg ; † June 14, 1934 there ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending primary and secondary school in Sonneberg, Thuringia, Hans Sauer was trained as a businessman until 1914. During the First World War , in which he reached the rank of lieutenant , he participated from 1914 to 1918 with the Uhlan Regiment No. 18 as a volunteer on the Western Front . After his return from the war, Sauer worked as a businessman in his father's factory in 1920 and 1921. From 1922 he was an independent manufacturer of cardboard boxes .

Sauer was a member of the Wikingbund in 1923 . In 1925 he joined the NSDAP, where he took over tasks as local group and district leader in Sonneberg. He initially took on public offices as a city council member and district council member, and in 1933 also as a member of the NSDAP in the Thuringian state parliament . From November 1933 until his death in 1934, Sauer also sat as a member of the NSDAP for constituency 12 (Thuringia) in the Berlin Reichstag . From July 9, 1934 until the end of the electoral term in March 1936, Sauer's Reichstag mandate was continued by the NSDAP functionary, Hans Beeck, who had succeeded him.

Sauer was also active in the National Socialist press, where he was the editor of the observer for the districts of Sonneberg and Hildburghausen . After the National Socialist " seizure of power " he was also in charge of the South Thuringian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in his hometown.
