Hans Schrötter from Kristelli
Hans Schrötter, Ritter von Kristelli (born March 24, 1891 in Munich , † June 5, 1965 in Graz ) was an Austrian painter and illustrator .
Hans Schrötter studied for four years at the Grazer Landes-Kunstschule with his father Alfred Schrötter von Kristelli , then at the Württemberg Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart and from 1911/12 as a guest student at the Vienna Academy . In 1912 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Professor Angelo Jank . From 1926 to 1936 he worked as a fresco painter and teacher in the USA (Chicago, New York), after which he lived in Graz, where he created several monumental room decorations (wall paintings).
