Hans Schumacher (born July 25, 1945 - April 18, 2000 ) was a German football player . For Rot-Weiß Oberhausen , the striker played 71 games in the Bundesliga and scored 15 goals.
Career
Schumacher moved from Eintracht Gelsenkirchen to the Bundesliga, to Rot-Weiß Oberhausen . He made his debut under coach Alfred Preissler and played 19 games, with 6 goals in his first season. Although his teammate Lothar Kobluhn was the top scorer , the league could be held at the end of the 1971 season only because of the better goal difference to Kickers Offenbach . This was followed by a 15th place in the final table, before relegation followed in the 1972/73 season . Schumacher played with RWO in the regional league for a year before the 2nd Bundesliga was introduced in 1974. His last season followed in the 2nd Bundesliga.
