Hans Schwenke (sculptor)
Hans Schwenke (also Johann , * mid- December 1589 in Pirna ; † beginning of August 1634 there ) was a German sculptor in Saxony .
Life
Schwenke was the older son of the sculptor Michael Schwenke . He received his sculptural training from his father, and later he worked in the sculptor workshop of Christoph Walther IV in Dresden . In 1610 he took over his father's workshop in Pirna and in 1622 became a citizen of the city of Pirna. In 1629 he was appointed head and four- master of the guild of stonemasons , masons and sculptors.

- 1611: Portrait grave stone for Lord Caspar von Hermsdorf in the church in Ulbersdorf near Sebnitz
- 1614: Portrait grave plate for pastor Mönch in the church in Bohemian Kamnitz
- 1615: Portrait grave plate for Rudolf von Bünau on Liebstadt in the Liebstadt church
- 1616: Portal decoration at the rectory in Sebnitz
- 1620: Wooden figure risen for the institution church Pirna-Sonnenstein
- 1624: figurative decoration on the bay window of the house at Barbiergasse 10 in Pirna
- 1625: Portrait grave plate for Johann Ernst Eberhard in the town church of Pirna
- 1627: Baptismal font for the church in Schwaden near Aussig
- 1634: Portrait grave stone for Hans Heinrich von Schönberg auf Maxen in the crypt of Freiberg Cathedral
