Hans Tauber (politician)

Hans Tauber (born February 22, 1921 in Erlangen , † April 24, 2007 in Obermichelbach ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Tauber grew up in Obermichelbach and attended school there. After an agricultural apprenticeship, he graduated from an agricultural college. During the Second World War he was in the military in Africa and Russia and most recently "Tiger" commander. After the war, the family's farm in Obermichelbach was taken over and managed.

Tauber was a councilor and from 1948 mayor of Obermichelbach, member of the Fürth district assembly , chairman of the CSU district assembly in Fürth district assembly, district chairman of the CSU, board member of the machine ring, board member of the Middle Franconian parents' association and honorary citizen of his home community. From 1970 to 1986 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .
