Hans Ulrich Schlaepfer

Hans Ulrich Schlaepfer (also Schläpfer) (born June 30, 1893 in Zurich ; † December 14, 1985 ibid), entitled to live in Speicher and Zurich, was a Swiss politician (FDP) .

biography

Hans Ulrich Schlaepfer, son of the doctor Johann Ulrich Schlaepfer and Anna née Rosenmund, turned to studying law at the University of Zurich after completing his Matura , which he obtained in 1918 with the academic degree of Dr. iur. completed.

Hans Ulrich Schlaepfer was subsequently employed at the district courts in Hinwil and Zurich , with the official guardianship and at the cantonal insurance court before he took over the position of secretary of the Zurich Chamber of Commerce in 1919; there he was director from 1943 until his retirement in 1961. He also emerged as the author of papers and publications on economics and politics. Schlaepfer was married to Frieda Kägi and died in Zurich in 1985.

Political functions

Hans Ulrich Schlaepfer was a member of the FDP parliamentary group of the Zurich Cantonal Council from 1934 to 1962 ; there he was involved in drafting the Zurich tax law in 1951. Between 1946 and 1947 he represented his canton in the National Council .
