Hans Urban von Closen zu Heidenburg († January 9, 1626 in Tübingen ) was a Bavarian hereditary marshal and later the owner of Kilchberg near Tübingen.

Hans Urban von Closen was the son-in-law of Georg III , who was married to Magdalene von Ehingen († February 2, 1634 in Stuttgart ) . von Ehingen , whose property he inherited after his death. In 1721 his heirs sold the estate to the Leutrum von Ertingen.

children

He had the following children:

  1. Magdalena of Closen
  2. Maria Salome of Closen
  3. Georg Stefan von Closen ∞ Maria Magdalena von Eyb
  4. August Friedrich von Closen (master of half of Wankheim and Eckhof ) ∞ Maria von Plassenberg
  5. Wolf of Closen
  6. Johannes Friedrich von Closen (Lord of half of Wankheim and Bläsiberg ) ∞ Marie Jakobe von Ruest

Georg Stephan von Closen acquired Christoph Randauer's house in Tübingen Münzgasse around 1643. After the death of Stephan Friedrich von Closen, his widow relocated to Mühlhausen am Neckar. The financial decline of the family began under Georg Stephan.

grandson

His grandchildren were baptized in the collegiate church of Tübingen from 1623 to 1635 , possibly because the family had moved there to escape a plague epidemic in Kilchberg. Children born before or after in these families were not baptized in Tübingen.

Judging by the lists of godparents, the grandchildren had a large number of prominent godparents. Only a few of them were certainly present at the baptism in person during these difficult times, especially in the years when the atrocities of the Thirty Years' War in Tübingen and Kilchberg were exaggerated. In the baptismal records there are the following records:
