Hans Walter (mentioned from 1590 in Basel; † July 17, 1610 in Basel ) was a Swiss carpenter of German origin.

Life

Hans Walter was a son of Hans Waldner (mentioned 1561–1603), a carpenter from Ravensburg , active in Innsbruck and Augsburg . In 1590 he bought the citizenship of the city of Basel and the guild rights of the spinning weather guild . In 1598 he was the main master in the manufacture of the "head stalls" for the Basel Minster (today in the Basel Historical Museum ).
