Hans von Oldershausen

Hans Freiherr von Oldershausen (born February 8, 1876 in Greifswald , † February 12, 1956 at Gut Förste near Osterode am Harz ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer , senior government councilor and district administrator .

Life

Hans von Oldershausen studied law. At the University of Heidelberg he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia in 1898 . He worked as a court assessor from 1901 and in 1906 became a government assessor for the district administrator in Groß-Wartenberg. In 1909 he worked in the government in Hanover, then in 1911 at the high presidium in Hanover. In 1917 he was appointed district administrator in the Duderstadt district and in 1927 provisional district administrator in the Weener district. In the same year he was also provisional district administrator in the Marienwerder district. After that, Baron von Oldershausen returned to the government in Hanover as a senior councilor. From 1933 to 1945 he served as district administrator again, this time in the Hanover district . In 1918/1919 he was a member of the Hanover Provincial Parliament.

He was a member of the Provincial Parliament of Hanover in 1917/1918. Hans von Oldershausen was also a knight of honor in the Order of St. John .

With his death, the Förste line of the von Oldershausen family expired.
