Hans von Wolffersdorff

Hans von Wolffersdorff (born September 9, 1549 in Markersdorf , † May 19, 1610 in Dehlitz ) was an Electoral Saxon civil servant. From 1583 to 1586 he was the governor of the Schwarzenberg office .

Life

After his training, Wolffersdorff entered the Electoral Saxon service, and under Elector August he became governor of Schwarzenberg and Grünhain. After August's death, his successor Christian I. Wolffersdorff appointed head kitchen master, who then moved his residence to Dresden . After Christian's death, Friedrich Wilhelm I appointed him in 1594 as governor of Weißenfels and also made him head of the Torgauer Hof.

Due to illness, he resigned his offices in 1609 and died the following year on the manor Dehlitz he had acquired in 1593 . He was buried in the church in Dehlitz, which he had considerably enlarged during his lifetime.
