Hansa Armaturen GmbH, based in Stuttgart , with its subsidiaries and Oras Ltd. to the Finnish fittings manufacturer Oras . The group claims to be the market leader in the Nordic countries and a leading company in Central Europe . The group's headquarters are in Rauma (Finland) and the factories in Burglengenfeld (Germany), Kralovice (Czech Republic), Olesno (Poland) and Rauma. The Oras Group is represented by its own employees in 20 sales organizations (subsidiaries). In 2014 net sales were EUR 258.1 million and at the end of the reporting period the company had 1,420 employees. The Oras Group is part of the family business and industrial owner Oras Invest.

history
In 1911 Karl Göhring founded the company Preß- und Stanzwerke GmbH in Zuffenhausen near Stuttgart, in 1913 the company moved into the Möhringen factory and the company was renamed MPW GmbH (Metall-, Preß-Werk GmbH). Hot-pressed parts and drawn parts were produced. In 1917 it was merged with Apparatebau HANSA GmbH, Stuttgart-Feuerbach. Expansion of the product range: Manufacture of special fittings for the aircraft, automobile and engine industries, in 1921 the company was renamed again, it was now called HANSA-Metallwerke AG. In 1926 the production of fittings for refrigeration technology began.
Production of sanitary fittings began in 1950, and the first patent for a hand shower with regulating and mixing valve was granted. In 1962 the first single-lever mixer was manufactured in Europe according to its own design. The Burglengenfeld production plant went into operation in 1980 . In 1984 there was a majority stake in the well-known Swiss fittings manufacturer Karrer, Weber & Cie., KWC Unterkulm / Switzerland and in 1987 ROKAL-Armaturen GmbH, a traditional fittings manufacturer in Nettetal, North Rhine-Westphalia, was taken over.
The subsidiary Hansa Automotive GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 2008 and produces components for refrigeration and air conditioning. On January 1st, 2008 this company was sold to a financial investor. In 2010, IK Investment Partners took over 99.74 percent of Hansa Metallwerke AG from the previous owner families, Göhring and Reh. On June 3, 2013, Franke Holding took over KWC AG from IK Investment and on September 18, the Finnish fittings manufacturer Oras took over Hansa Metallwerke. In 2014 Hansa Metallwerke AG became Hansa Armaturen GmbH. Pekka Kuusniemi became managing director on January 16, 2014; he had been CEO of the Oras Group since 2008 . In 2015 the new company building was opened in Stuttgart-Möhringen.
