Hansegraf

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In various European countries officials for Hanseatic , market or trade affairs were designated as Hansegraf or Hansgraf , for example in England , Flanders , France and the Netherlands . In Regensburg , the Hansgraf was as much a board member of the merchants' guild and at the same time judge in guild matters , as evidenced since the 12th century. In Bremen were as Hänsegräven two councilors referred to the Bürgerbuch led and presized structural neighborhood disputes. The Hansgrafenamt has been documented in Tyrol since the late 15th century and documented in 1474 in Bozen as "hannsgrafambt in vnnserm lande der graffschetzt Tirol".
