Hanspeter Demetz

Hanspeter Demetz (* 1948 in Ortisei in Val Gardena ) is a South Tyrolean architect, draftsman and author.

life and work

Demetz runs its own architecture office specializing in hotel construction. Since 1980 he has published cartoons in the weekly magazine ff . In addition, Demetz published drawings in several books written by him; this includes a lexicon of South Tyrolean-German , a volume with stories and a collection of “South Tyrolean”. In the sculpture park in the valley in the Westerwald is the “House for August Sander ” (1989) designed by him , which as a complex exhibition space refers explicitly to the principles of photography.
