Hanspeter Latour [ ˈlaːtuɾ ] (born June 4, 1947 in Thun ), called "Pudi", is a former Swiss football goalkeeper and football coach . He worked as a football expert for Swiss radio and television until 2014 , is married and has two children.

During his sporting career, Latour played as a goalkeeper in various clubs. His greatest success as a player was his appointment as a junior national player for Switzerland.

After Latour had coached FC Wil , he became the coach of FC Thun in July 2001 . With that he rose from National League B to National League A and led the club to the top despite a small budget. Thanks to his energetic manner and his unexpected success, Latour became the identification figure of the club, for whom he had already stood between the posts as a ball boy on the sidelines and later as a goalkeeper. Hanspeter Latour led the club several times in the UEFA Intertoto Cup (UI Cup). He succeeded in the spring of 2005, whereupon Latour's successor Urs Schönenberger made it into the UEFA Champions League six months later with FC Thun .

At the beginning of 2005, Hanspeter Latour moved to the Grasshopper Club Zurich , which he quickly led out of the crisis to qualify for the UEFA Cup . From January 2006 Hanspeter Latour was head coach of Bundesliga club 1. FC Köln , whose relegation to the 2. Bundesliga at the end of the 2005/06 season he could not prevent. In November 2006 he was released from his duties in the second division after a mixed start to the season and several disappointing games in a row. After the summer of 2007 he trained again at the Grasshopper Club, where his contract was not renewed in 2009. His constant companion and assistant was Thomas Binggeli. In 2010, Latour started his own business and has since made his living with lectures and performances.
