Hansruedi's brother
Hansruedi Bruder (born June 2, 1937 in Schinznach ) is a former Swiss sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .
In 1960 he was sixth in the 4 x 400 meter relay at the Olympic Games in Rome .
At the European Athletics Championships in Budapest in 1962, he won bronze in the 4 x 400 meter relay and reached the semifinals over 400 meters .
From 1961 to 1963 he was Swiss champion three times in a row. On July 9, 1961, he set a national record in Colombes with 46.6 s, which was broken by Peter Laeng the following year .
