Harald Mitteldorf
Harald Mitteldorf (born May 24, 1950 in Saalfeld ) is a German archivist and historian .
Harald Mitteldorf studied archival science at the Technical College for Archives in Potsdam and in 1974 took over the company archive of the VEB Pumpspeicherwerke - Hohenwarte headquarters . From 1980 to 1985 he studied history at the Humboldt University in Berlin as a correspondence course and graduated as a historian.
Mitteldorf has been in charge of the parliamentary documentation and archive in the administration of the Thuringian state parliament since 1991 .
He mainly publishes on the history of the Saale dams and the history of Thuringia .
