The Court of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen is in accordance with Article 133a of the State Constitution of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen an independent, supreme state authority.
tasks
The Court of Auditors checks and monitors the budgetary and economic management of the State of Bremen and the City of Bremen.
Currently (2016) the audit office is located at Birkenstrasse 20/21.

The Bremen citizenship elects the members. They are judicially independent and only subject to the law.
