The state audit Mecklenburg-Vorpommern , according to Art. 68 of the Constitution of the Land Mecklenburg-Vorpommern an independent, the law only subject supreme state authority. The current president has been Martina Johannsen since May 1, 2016.
tasks
The State Audit Office oversees the entire budget and economic management of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . He examines the expediency and profitability of the public administration and is also responsible if positions or persons outside the state administration receive state funds or manage state assets or funds. Every year the Court of Auditors submits a report on its results to the State Parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and the state government .
