Parliamentary documentation

In the Federal Republic of Germany, parliamentary documentation is an information system that provides information about the activities of the members of the German Bundestag , the German Bundesrat or a state parliament . The for this information system synonymous mentioned may, for example, but also Parliament database , parliamentary documentation system , Open Parliamentary information system , documentation database or parliament information system loud.

The system contains information on the publicly available work of members of parliament and parliaments . It also has parliamentary materials such as printed matter and plenary minutes . Access to electronic documents that were created before and after German reunification is made possible. Parliamentarians and non-parliamentarians in the database system research , all research results, save and print. A registration is not required.

DIP and parliamentary mirror

The parliamentary materials of the Bundestag and Bundesrat are documented by a common information system called the Documentation and Information System for Parliamentary Processes , or DIP for short . The parliamentary documentation of the federal German state parliaments, on the other hand, is combined in the parliament mirror , which is managed by the parliamentary database of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia. Both information systems can be used for research without registration.
