Harald Natvig (born June 10, 1872 in Stavanger , † August 1, 1947 in Hjerkinn ) was a Norwegian sports shooter .
successes
Harald Natvig took part in the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp and in the 1924 Games in Paris in shooting at a running target . In 1920 he became Olympic champion in the disciplines running stag single shot and double shot with the team. In the single shot, Einar Liberg , Ole Lilloe-Olsen , Hans Nordvik and Otto Olsen belonged to the team, in the double shot Liberg, Lilloe-Olsen, Nordvik and Thorstein Johansen . In the individual competition in double shots, he secured bronze. Four years later he won gold again in the team competition in the running deer single shot, and in the double shot he finished second with the team. In both games he also took part in the trap and finished seventh both times. In 1931 he was in Lwów with the team in running stag double shot world champion .
Natvig worked as a doctor after graduating in 1898. From 1905 he had a practice in Bergen , from 1908 he ran a practice in Oslo . He received his doctorate in gynecology in 1906. During the First Balkan War he worked as a doctor in a Serbian field hospital, during the Finnish civil war he ran an ambulance of the Norwegian Red Cross on the side of the White Army . In the 1930s he worked in a hospital in Oslo.
