Harald Turzer

Harald Turzer (born May 29, 1960 ) is a German production designer .

Life

Harald Turzer graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and then worked as a set designer in various film and television productions. Turzer has worked with the director Rainer Matsutani on a number of occasions . His set design for the two television films Nacht der Engel and Der Runner , each directed by Michael Rowitz , was awarded the German Television Prize in 2001.

In addition to his cinematic work, Turzer was also able to distinguish himself in the field of tennis and related sports. He developed and patented a new type of curved tennis racket, for which he received a Brand New Award in 2003 at the ISPO sports fair .

Turzer is a member of the Association of Production Designers, Film Architects and Costume Designers in Europe. V. (SKV) and the German Film Academy .
