Harald Zusanek

Harald Zusanek (born January 14, 1922 in Vienna ; † January 21, 1989 there ) was an Austrian writer .

Life

Harald Zusanek studied at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna and worked as a theater and radio play author as well as a poet and narrator. He was best known as a critic of ideology and civilization . In 1951 Zusanek received the Austrian State Prize . From 1967 he was a professor at the Vienna Film Academy , whose official name at the time was the Film and Television Department at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna .

Zusanek worked in Vienna and was married to TV editor and filmmaker Rose Kern.
