The Harboe Bryggeri A / S is a brewery headquartered in Skælskør in Denmark , which has developed into an international brewery group with an output of 6.5 million annual hectoliters of beer and soft drinks. In 2011 the group had 572 employees.

history

Harboes Bryggeri was founded in Skælskør in 1883. In 1957 the brewery was converted into a public limited company. The company later expanded and was listed on the stock exchange in 1989. Harboes Bryggeri has been purveyor to the Danish royal family since 2008 . GourmetBryggeriet, founded in 2005, was taken over in 2009.

The group consists of the breweries Harboes Bryggeri (Denmark), Darguner Brewery (Germany), Viru Õlu in Haljala (Estonia) and the former microbrewery Gourmetbryggeriet.
