Hard Action is a Finnish rock - band from Helsinki .

history

The guitarist Ville Valauvuo and the drummer Markus Hietamies played in the now defunct band Speedtrap since 2007 . Both had wanted to start a rock 'n' roll band for years , but couldn't find a suitable singer. In 2014 Valauvuo met with the singer Günter Kivioja and mentioned his project rather casually. The band Hard Action was founded that same year together with bassist Ari-Pekka Heinola. The band was signed by Svart Records and released their first single Dead Dogs in the year they were founded . The first album Sinister Vibes , which was produced by Tapio Lepistö, followed a year later . A year later, a second single followed with Hands Dripping Red . Hard Action played numerous concerts and festivals. In early 2017, the band released the 7 "single Tied Down , which contained a cover version of the Scorpions ' song Robot Man on the B-side . In spring 2017, the band recorded their second album, Hot Wired Beat , on December 1, 2017 The German magazine Rock Hard named Hot Wired Beat album of the month.

style

According to Ville Valauvuo, the band wanted to combine the music the band members grew up with, punk rock with the hard rock of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Main influences include Valauvuo The Stooges , MC5 , the Ramones and Motörhead .
