Hardbone is a German hard rock band from Hamburg .

history

Hardbone was founded in 2006 by Tim Dammann (vocals), Tom Lindemann (guitar), Sebastian Kranke (guitar), John Kölln (drums) and Sebastian Mull (bass) under the name "Uncut". The debut album Dirty 'n' Young was released on November 5, 2010 under the current band name on the Remedy Records offshoot Rude Records. Sebastian Mull was replaced by Wolfgang Pohl on bass before the recordings for Dirty 'n' Young .

For the second album This Is Rock 'n' Roll , which was released on April 13, 2012, there was a line-up change on drums when John Kölln was replaced by Caine Grandt. The band was able to make a name for itself at various festivals at home and abroad.

With the same line-up, the band released their third studio album Bone Hard on June 27, 2014. A little later the separation from bassist Wolfgang Pohl was announced. He was replaced by Tim Schwarz (formerly Railroad).

After many successful concerts, festivals (including Baltic Open Air ) and tours in Germany , Spain and other countries in Western Europe , drummer Caine Grandt surprisingly announced his departure at the end of 2015 in order to orient himself musically in a different direction. His place was taken by Benjamin Ulrich (formerly Aaron Hellvis )

The fourth work Tailor-Made was recorded together and published on October 28, 2016. The band toured Germany and Europe with this album. In 2018 the band entered into a booking deal with the agency Seaside Touring (part of ICS Festival Service GmbH ). This was followed by major engagements at festivals such as the Wacken Open Air and the Werner Race , as well as support tours for Thundermother and Rose Tattoo .

In February 2020 the band announced their fifth studio album No Frills with a release date May 8, 2020. The Chameleon Studios Hamburg led by producer Eike Freese ( Dark Age ) were booked for this work . At the same time, the band switched to the newly founded booking department of Schubert Music Publishing GmbH and announced a comprehensive release tour.
