Harm Dallmeyer (* 16th December 1942 in Eckernförde ; † 11. April 1983 in Schleswig ) was a German politician of the CDU .

Job and family

Dallmeyer graduated from the I. Kieler Mittelschule in 1960 with a secondary school leaving certificate and then completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter , which he completed in 1963 with the journeyman's examination. He became a Bundeswehr soldier in 1963 , was promoted to officer in 1965, and was then platoon leader in the heavy engineer battalion 620 Schleswig from 1965 to 1967, then personnel officer until 1970. From 1970 to 1972 he was company commander of a pioneer company and from 1972 to 1974 officer for combat command, organization and training of the battalion. In 1974 he was promoted to major and from 1974 worked as an adjutant and central department head to the chief of staff in the Schleswig-Holstein Territorial Command, from 1974 training course for staff officers at the management academy.

Dallmeyer was married and had three children.

Dallmeyer joined the CDU in 1971. He became local chairman in Schleswig and a member of the district executive committee. From December 1976 to October 1980 he was Secretary General of the CDU Schleswig-Holstein .

He became a councilor in Schleswig in 1974 and was deputy spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group in the council and chairman of the urban development working group. From May 29, 1979 to November 3, 1980 he was a member of the state parliament in Schleswig-Holstein . In the state parliament he was a member of the home and legal committee. He resigned his state parliament mandate after he was elected to the Bundestag in 1980, to which he was a member from November 4th. He was elected on the state list of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU) in Schleswig-Holstein. In the 1983 federal election he was a successful direct candidate in the Flensburg - Schleswig constituency and remained a member of the Bundestag until his death on April 11, 1983.
