Harold Becker

Harold Becker (born September 25, 1928 in New York , New York ) is an American film director .

Live and act

He studied at the Pratt Institute in New York and worked as a photographer and designer. He later directed short films and commercials, followed by documentaries. Becker made his first film, Blind Gary Davis , in 1964, a documentary about Blind Gary Davis in black and white. It was 15 years before his first feature film Murder in the Onion Field , with James Woods in the leading role.

The highlight of his work so far is Sea of ​​Love - Melody of Death with Al Pacino in the lead role.
