Harro Frey
Harro Frey (* 1942 in Uffenheim ; † May 23, 2011 ) was a German sculptor . From 1971 until his death he ran a workshop in Igensdorf , district of Pettensiedel. From 1958 to 1967 he studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg . His works are omnipresent in Franconia (e.g. in Hof, Coburg, Nuremberg, Fürth, Effeltrich, Igensdorf, Eschenau). Particularly beautiful sculptures can be found in the park of Unterleinleiter Castle .

- 1965: Academy Award of the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg
- 1996: Culture Prize of the Upper Franconian Economy , donated by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Upper Franconia Bayreuth
- 1999: Culture Prize of the Forchheim District
- 2008: Culture Prize of the Upper Franconian Foundation
