Harrows Law

The Harrows Law is a hill in the Pentland Hills . The 414 m high elevation is located on the west flank in the south of the approximately 25 km long range of hills in the Scottish Council Area South Lanarkshire .

The nearest town is Tarbrax, about 3.5 kilometers to the northwest . West Linton is ten kilometers east of the eastern flank of the range of hills. The surrounding hills include the Black Birn in the northeast, Henshaw Hill in the north, Borne's Rig in the east, Bleak Law in the southeast and Left Law in the south.

Surroundings

There is a cairn on top of Harrows Law . He belongs to a group of Cairns in the area, which is made up of relatively large stones. Since these Cairns are not recorded on older maps, they are dated to the second half of the 19th century and are therefore of no historical significance.

A stream rises on the west flank, which feeds the North Medwin , which runs along the west flank of the Pentland Hills . On the other hand, a stream descends from the eastern flank and flows into the South Medwin in the east .
