Harry Joseph Bowman ( July 17, 1949 - March 3, 2019 ), nicknamed Taco and T , is the former president of Outlaws MC . He was on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list for a while and had been incarcerated since 1999.

Criminal rocker career

Harry Bowman was a member of the Outlaws MC and held various positions within the club. He was President in Detroit and National Vice President. In 1982 Bowman killed the outlaw Arthur Allen Vincent in Ormond Beach , Florida .

From 1984 to 1997 he was the national president of the Outlaws and controlled the club from a suburb of Detroit. His right-hand man was Wayne "Joe Black" Hicks. As part of his work as president, he hired, among other things, Hicks to carry out the murder of a former outlaw member. However, the murder assignment could not be carried out.

In 1990 Bowman ordered the murder of Raymond Chaffin, a member of the warring motorcycle gang Warlocks MC in Fort Lauderdale . The murder was carried out by Houston Murphy and Alex “Dirt” Ankeric on February 21, 1991 while Hicks and Bowman were showing up in public for an alibi .

In March 1992, as part of the annual Daytona Beach Bike Week meeting , there was a violent argument between Irwin "Hitler" Nissen, a former prospect of the outlaws, and the president of Atlante. Bowman had Nissen kidnapped and severely beaten, putting a hand on him and threatening him several times. In 1993 he kidnapped another outlaw member who had testified against the club. After imprisoning him for several days, he forced him to quit the club.

In 1994, Bowman ordered a war with their main rivals, the Hells Angels . This order led to increasing clashes between the two clubs, in which innocent people were also involved. Bowman in Gary , Indiana , equipped a so-called "War Wagon" with additional steel plates and loopholes, which was supposed to take action against a supporter club of the Hells Angels. However, this was stopped beforehand by the police. In 1994 a bomb attack was carried out on a Hell's Henchmen clubhouse in Chicago , but it failed. A month later, outlaws set fire to the clubhouse. Other attacks were carried out on Warlock clubhouses in Orlando and Brevard Counties. In 1994, Florida Fifth Chapter Motorcycle Club (FCMC) was mugged, beaten, and robbed at a club party because one of its members hugged a Hells Angel at a funeral.

In 1994, Bowman killed the outlaw Donald Fogg with a headshot. Fogg was noticed as a police informant and was therefore executed by Bowman.

arrest

In 1997, an arrest warrant against Bowman was issued, but it could not be carried out. Bowman was then placed on the list of "FBI Ten Most Wanted Fugitives". He was arrested in 1999 while visiting his family in Sterling Heights , Michigan . He has been charged with violating the RICO Act on four counts, including murder, incitement to murder and drug smuggling. Other charges included violations of the Narcotics Act, bodily harm and illegal possession of weapons. He was sentenced to two times life imprisonment. In 2002 Bowman applied for a revision, but the jury saw no procedural errors.
