Harry Kusnick

Harry Kusnick (before 1935 - after 1948) was an American costume designer and sound engineer who was once nominated for an Oscar for best special effects .

Life

Kusnick began his career as a costume designer in the Hollywood film industry in 1935 for the western His Fighting Blood by John English with Kermit Maynard , Polly Ann Young and Ted Adams .

After another film production as a costume designer, he worked as a sound engineer in 1944 on the production of the war film Secret Command (1944) directed by A. Edward Sutherland with Pat O'Brien , Carole Landis and Chester Morris in the lead roles and was for this film with David Allen , Ray Cory , Robert Wright and Russell Malmgren nominated for an Oscar for best special effects .
