Harry Rieso
Harry Rieso (born October 14, 1933 in Hiddenhausen ; † June 22, 2020 ) was a German local politician ( SPD ).
Life
Harry Rieso grew up in his native Hiddenhausen and worked as a master electrician at the Minden-Ravensberg electricity company .
In the 1950s he joined the SPD. From 1964 to 1968 he was a member of the official representation in the Herford-Hiddenhausen office , which was subsequently dissolved by the law on the reorganization of the Herford district and the city of Herford .
In the Hiddenhausen community that emerged from this in 1969, Rieso was chairman of the SPD community association from 1974 to 1979. From 1989 to 1998 he was mayor of the municipality of Hiddenhausen, which during this time exceeded the 20,000-inhabitant limit.
His wife Hildegard Rieso died on February 24, 2020.
