Harry Souttar (born October 22, 1998 in Aberdeen ) is a Scottish football player . His older brother John Souttar is also a professional footballer.

Career

Harry Souttar began his youth career at Brechin City . He then played in the Youth Academy of Celtic Glasgow and Dundee United . The tall central defender made his debut in the professional team of United on May 10, 2016 in the penultimate league game of the Scottish Premiership 2015/16 . In the 3-3 draw against Partick Thistle , he was in the starting line-up. On the final day of the match against FC Kilmarnock , Souttar scored after being substituted for Mark Durnan in the 83rd minute to make it 4-2 for United .

In September 2016, Souttar moved to Stoke City in England .

National team

Harry Souttar played twice for the U-17 national team of Scotland against France and Greece in 2015 .
