The village of Harsdorf is part of the Röhrnbach market in the Freyung-Grafenau district . The municipality of the same name came as part of the regional reform in Bavaria on January 1, 1970 to the municipality of Kumreut and then in 1978 to Röhrnbach.

Harsdorf is located in the southern Bavarian Forest five kilometers northeast of Röhrnbach. The B12 runs nearby and leads to Passau, 30 kilometers away, and Freyung , 14 kilometers away .

history

Harsdorf was part of the Passau bishopric . The place was in 1803 with the largest part of the Passau area in favor of the Electorate of Salzburg by Ferdinand III. Secularized by Tuscany and fell to Bavaria in 1805 . With the formation of the communities in 1818 on the basis of the second Bavarian community edict of May 17, 1818, the community of Harsdorf was formed. In addition to Harsdorf, it included the towns of Großwiesen, Holzmühle, Kleinwiesen, Kollberg, Lobenstein, Rappmannsberg, Rumpenstadl, Saußmühle and Voggenberg. The formerly independent municipality of Harsdorf was incorporated into Kumreut on January 1, 1970.

On May 1, 1978, Harsdorf was incorporated into Röhrnbach as part of the former municipality of Kumreut.
