Hartmann is a German melodic rock band that was founded in Aschaffenburg in 2004 by the eponymous singer , producer , arranger and guitarist Oliver Hartmann .

style

Hartmann play catchy, melodic rock music in the style of Toto , Bryan Adams or Bon Jovi . On the live DVD Handmade , all songs were arranged in an acoustic set and performed in unplugged fashion.

Trivia

Hartmann shared the stage on European tours with greats such as House of Lords , The Hooters , Uriah Heep , Y&T and Mother's Finest and played as support for Edguy , Jaded Heart and many more. Out in the Cold , published in 2005, was voted best by the online magazine MelodicRock Debut album of the year chosen and the song What If I contained on it was named Song of the Year 2005 .

For the 6th studio album, HARTMANN initiated a crowdfunding project via the PledgeMusic platform , in which monetary donations were collected for the production. In return, the band offered according to the donation u. a. signed CDs, posters, backdrops as well as private concerts, guitar and singing lessons. On May 12, 2018, the set goal was achieved and Hands On The Wheel was published as scheduled on May 18, 2018.
