Hartmut Müller

Hartmut Müller (* 1938 in Trier ) is a German historian, archivist , researcher, author and editor. He lives and works in Stuhr ( Diepholz district , Lower Saxony ).

biography

After graduation in Trier Müller graduated from the universities in Mainz and Saarbrücken studying history and German studies . In 1965 he entered the preparatory service for archives. Müller went through all phases of specialist training in Bremen and at the archive school in Marburg .

Act

From 1975 to 2000, Müller was archive director at the Bremen State Archives . In 1975 - at the age of 37 - he was the youngest archive director in the Federal Republic of Germany. As an author, he has worked on the most diverse areas of Bremen's regional history : economic, shipping, company and trade history, etc. a.
