Hartmut Reußwig (* 1952 in Hanau / Main) is a German church musician and composer .

life and work

Hartmut Reusswig was trained as a church musician in Herford , then he studied musicology , art history and journalism in Münster with a degree as a magister artium . After performing church music in Bielefeld and Witten (Ruhr), he took over the office of district cantor in the Evangelical Lutheran church district of Nienburg / Weser in 1989 .

Reusswig is the composer of many new sacred songs . He is a member of the lyricists and composers group TAKT .
