Klaus-Uwe Nommensen

Klaus-Uwe Nommensen (born January 29, 1952 in Wolfenbüttel ) is a theologian , author, publicist and editor.

life and work

Nommensen works as a public relations officer in the Evangelical Regional Center West Coast (Breklum). Before that he was internet editor in the Evangelical Media Service Center of the regional church of Hanover, parish pastor in Nienhagen / Celle, Stade , Hitzacker and Papenburg , as well as editor of the Evangelische Zeitung in Hanover. In addition to his contributions to contemporary history and the dialogue between church, art and culture, Nommensen is the author of a number of stories on biblical texts for children and adults and new sacred songs , freelancer for various church newspapers and author and editor of anthologies, non-fiction and specialist books. He is a member of the lyricists and composers group TAKT . Together with his wife, Susanne Brandt, he ran the small publishing house Glas + Wort. He also works artistically with glass.
