Hartmut Ulbricht

Hartmut Ulbricht (born February 17, 1950 in Klitten , Oberlausitz) is a German politician ( CDU ). In 1990 he was a member of the Volkskammer and then a member of the state parliament of Saxony until 1999 .

Life

Ulbricht attended the polytechnic high school and then did an agricultural apprenticeship. From 1970 to 1973 he completed a technical college degree in agrochemistry and plant protection in Halle . He then worked in the field of agrochemistry. Since 1971 he was a member of the CDU . In 1988 he became local group chairman and from March to October 1990 he was a member of the People's Chamber of the GDR, where he was chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in the committee for disarmament and defense. He then moved into the state parliament of Saxony through a direct mandate in constituency 28 ( Niesky - Görlitz, Land I - Bautzen III ), to which he also belonged in the second electoral period until 1999.

Then he was State Secretary and Head of Office in the Saxon Ministry of the Interior. In 2002 Ulbricht was put into temporary retirement and his function was transferred to Michael Antoni .

Apart from politics, Ulbricht took part in the development of the then newly emerging Bärwalder See in his home town of Klitten , where he was the first boat owner and president of the Nautic Club Bärwalder See e. V.
