Hartung and Trenz

Hartung and Trenz or “Hartung | Trenz ”are Detlef Hartung (* 1958 in Caracas ) and Georg Maximilian Trenz (* 1962 in Munich ). After graduating from the Munich Art Academy , they have been developing typographic projections together since 1996.

Biographies

Detlef Hartung studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich from 1979 to 1984 and fine arts at the Munich Art Academy from 1985 to 1991 . He is married to the artist Marina Hermann and lives in Cologne .

Georg Trenz studied communication design at the Munich University of Applied Sciences from 1982 to 1986 and fine arts at the Munich Art Academy from 1988 to 1994 . Georg Trenz lives with his family in Munich .
