Hartwig von Stiten (* 1640 ; † May 22, 1692 in Lübeck ) was a German politician and Lübeck councilor in the 17th century.

Hartwig von Stiten member was one originally from Mecklenburg family of Lübeck patrician. His father was the councilor Jürgen von Stiten . His wife was a daughter of the mayor of Lübeck Anton Köhler . Hartwig von Stiten belonged to the circle society from 1669 and was elected to the council in 1687 . He was the landowner of Schönböken . He also owned an estate in Krempelsdorf. In the Marienkirche in Lübeck , a dramatic epitaph created by the Flemish sculptor Thomas Quellinus commemorates the last von Stiten and his family, beginning with the first councilor of this family, Nikolaus von Stiten . Schönböken passed on to the councilor Heinrich Kerkring († 1670) .
